So yes! I do go out sometimes and like to have a good time. So for those of us that end up feeling a bit woozy the next day, sweating it out and getting your blood flowing is a great cure. This was my work-out yesterday: At Ballys =)
1. Stretch
2. 40 sit ups on the bench
3. The treadmill for 30 minutes. My goal here is to sweat. I was dreading doing cardio but this is the only way for me to cure my hangover. - So I walked on incline (8.0) for five minutes - brought the inline down to 2.0 and jogged at speed of 5.4 for fifteen minutes. If was feeling pretty confident, so I raised the incline to 4.0 every five minutes or so and jogged at the same speed for one minute. Then brought it back down. So far that's 20 minutes total! Now for the next 10 minutes I did sprints. This is where I really break a sweat! I took the speed to 6.7 and sprinted until I was running out of breath - bring the speed back down a bit - rest - now sprint again! 30 minutes is up. Oh my I feel great!
4. I then did an incline leg press machine to hit my major muscle group. Two sets of 15. Your thighs are a major muscle group that generate the most heat.
5. More sit- ups... Hit those abs! We all hear about the Americans ever-expanding waistline. Smaller waistline = healthier you!
6. I then went to the assisted Pull up bar. I weigh 125 and I put 70 lbs of help. Lighter weight and more reps give us a toner look. More weight and less reps give guys that muscle they are looking for.
7. Then a few more sit-ups. keep in mind you can squeeze sit-ups in anytime you're resting between sets. Even during commercial breaks!
And don't forget to stretch before, between, and after your work-outs. Also make sure you cool down after your cardio work-out as well. Your body will love you for it.
So I just hit all the major muscle groups of my body after a great cardio work-out. Now I'm ready to go home and shower.... I don't know about you, but I love to eat junk-food after a night out. It's okay though! I deserve it on this day.
Feel free to ask me any helpful tips for your next work-out. I been doing this for years and my brother is a Powerlifter. He got first place in the worlds dead-lift. So I'm credible!
